Scientist Invent New Way To Convert Ammonia Into Hydrogen

Rice University scientists have invented a light-activated catalyst that efficiently converts ammonia into clean-burning hydrogen using only inexpensive raw materials. The design is a light-activated nanomaterial to convert the ammonia into clean-burning hydrogen fuel. The effort is a collaborative project from Rice’s Laboratory for Nanophotonics, Syzygy Plasmonics Inc.
